Ferraro's Bar e Ristorante

Ferraro's Bar e Ristorante at Four Seasons Resort Maui epitomises every element of the perfect place to dine in Hawaii. Its spectacular beachfront setting is enhanced by Ferraro's open-air design, which takes full advantage of Wailea's warm, dry, sunny weather. The diverse menu showcases the fresh seafood and produce of Hawaii, while the casual atmosphere, lively bar and great entertainment ensure that a meal at Ferraro's will be remembered forever.

Ferraro's offers the perfect setting for a Maui meal, regardless of time of day. Lunch is served overlooking Wailea Beach and features casual fare. Come evening, Ferraro's is guaranteed to dazzle as guests dine under a canopy of stars, served by arguably the most attentive staff on Maui. Authentic Italian cucina rustica cuisine, featuring tantalising seafood, fish and pasta, is brought to the table at Wailea's only beach-side restaurant.

According to Bon Appétit magazine, "Count Ferraro's ... as another example of why there's so much, well, wowie to be found on Maui, and why visitors are perpetually enthralled – not to mention well fed."
Specialties

A new kiawe wood-burning oven brings mouth-watering pizzas and other innovative creations to the lunch menu, with such tempting dishes as Dungeness crab panini. For a late-afternoon snack, why not sample the dynamic pupu (appetisers)?

By night, Ferraro's features a cucina rustica menu that showcases the wood-burning oven to dramatic effect in a wide range of dishes. Wood-fire-baked focaccia, lobster risotto and mushroom-filled ravioli are just a few of the featured creations.

Keiki (children) and "I'm Not A Kid Anymore" teen menus are available.

Wailea Gold Course

The rugged Wailea Gold course was made for players seeking a real challenge. A masterful blend of brawn and beauty, this par-72 course will be the host course of the Wendy's Champions Skins Event and LPGA Skins Game. Golf course architects Robert Trent Jones II took full advantage of Wailea's naturally undulating terrain and created an outstanding layout that measures more than 7,000 yards and showcases Wailea's stunning scenery. Strategically placed bunkers and hazards, changes in elevation and masterfully designed doglegs have earned the Wailea Gold the reputation of being a "thinking player's" course that rewards good strategy and finesse. Note: all charges can be billed to your guest room.

Celebrate your special day at one of the world's finest resorts – and let it show how even perfect experiences can improve on perfection. Four Seasons Maui Reviews

“Service with a capital S”
Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea

We had the privilege to stay here from 1/24/08-1/26/08. We hopped over to Maui from the big island and were transported into a completely different experience. We checked in early and were promptly greeted w/leis and escorted to the check in desk. Rooms were not available yet - and we didn't expect them to be - but they took our cell phone numbers and called us at 1:15 to let us know our room was ready. My husband waited for about 10 minutes for the bellman to bring up our bags. We were able to use the facilities until our room was ready so we hung out at the pool. The pool is very nice and clean. The poolside cabanas are first come first serve - and free!!! The pool attendants were on the ball and set us up right away. They were good about clearing out chaises that were left for a long time and not returned to. The pool attendants come by very often w/fresh ice water and fruit. The temperature of the water was perfect as was the hot tub temp.

The room was beautiful. We had a king room w/a sofa and a table and 2 chairs The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was huge. There is a vanity, double sinks, a full soaking tub , separate shower, and separate toilet room. There were plenty of bath towels, facecloths, etc. The l'Occitane bath/hair products were of excellent quality. The bathroom was cleaned up and replenished every evening as well as every day. They have a hairdryer, q-tips and cotton squares as well. I really liked the light up makeup mirror.

The resort is very pretty - Very upscale - marble floors and quiet elegance. There are plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the quiet. There are several stations of coffe/water/tea throughout the resort also. The valet attendants offer bottles of water every time you leave or return. I really appreciated that. They have a nice game room w/pool tables, foosball, pingpong, shuffleboard, 2 complimentary computers, tvs, and a 6 station x-box room. All complimentary. They offer several fitness classes - a couple of which have a $10 charge, but many of which are free. The workout room/weight room are more than adequate. They provide towels, water, gatorade, headphones, fresh fruit. Again, no charge for using the workout area. There is alos a business center next to the concierge w/free computer usage and copying which is helpful in printing out boarding passes. The concierge is very helpful as well.

The restaurants are pricey. Dinner for 4 w/2 apps, 4 entrees, 4 salads,1 dessert, 5 drinks, tax & tip came to $500 at Ferraros. Breakfast buffet was $32/pp. Dinner at Duo and Spago will run you as much if not more than Ferraros.

This is an awesome resort. The finest place I have ever stayed in and w/the best customer service I have ever received. You wont be disappointed if you stay here.

“Our favorite Maui hotel for 15 years”
Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea

We found the FS Wailea when it was being built and have stayed 5-10 days each January or December each year except 07. We just left after spending 5 nights there. We absolutely LOVE this hotel. The staff there is amazing. They are all so cordial and friendly. Even the gardeners say hello! The staff is also very accomodating. One day we walked to a hotel nextdoor for lunch. I asked for half a sandwich and was told I could only order a whole sandwich there. That would have never happened at the FS. They always aim to accomodate guests wishes (if reasonable)! We've always felt so pampered there. This year we found things were even better. The redecorated rooms are beautiful. The large flat screen tv's are great and a way to put in a memory card and display pictures you've taken. They have new matresses that are wonderful! The food in all the restaurants seemed to be even more delicious than ever before! The first floor restaurant has just been beautifully remodeled and is now called DUO. Their breakfast buffet is fabulous. Their beach is awesome!! All in all, this is an EXCEPTIONAL treat. Each year, we can't wait to return!
